By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the site. These terms also describe baseline expectations for services requested from Lady Luck Notary. A service is not accepted or scheduled until its details are confirmed.
If written instructions from a title company, lender, signing service, government agency, document recipient, or other authorized commissioning party apply to a transaction, those instructions may control the performance and delivery of that service. They do not authorize Lady Luck Notary to act outside Nevada law or the lawful role of a notary public.
2. Website information
The website provides general information about Lady Luck Notary and possible service categories. It is not a complete statement of Nevada law, does not establish that a particular document can be notarized, and does not create a professional relationship merely because you view or use the site.
Service descriptions, availability, operating areas, credentials, and website tools may change. Contact Lady Luck Notary for current information relevant to your request.
3. No legal advice or document selection
Lady Luck Notary is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or legal-document preparation services. Lady Luck Notary does not choose a document for you, decide what notarial act you need, explain a document's legal effect, tell you how to complete legal content, or advise you about your rights or transaction.
You must obtain document and notarial instructions from the document itself, the person or agency receiving it, an authorized commissioning party, or a qualified attorney. A notary may describe the steps being performed and may identify missing notarial information without advising you what legal choice to make.
4. Services and service limitations
Lady Luck Notary may provide general and mobile notarial services, hospital and care-facility appointments, real estate and loan signings, Remote Online Notarization when operationally available, and apostille assistance. A listed category is not a promise that every request, document, location, or deadline can be accepted.
Notarization verifies matters within the authorized notarial act. It does not validate a document's truth, legality, enforceability, accuracy, or suitability.
5. Appointment requests and confirmations
An appointment request is not a confirmed booking. Before scheduling, Lady Luck Notary confirms the service, documents, identification, required signers and witnesses, location, preferred timing, travel, and total cost. No appointment exists until Lady Luck Notary communicates confirmation.
The website form sends an appointment request to Lady Luck Notary for review. Sending the form does not confirm availability or create an appointment. A requested time may be unavailable, and direct confirmation is required before relying on any appointment details.
6. Signer, witness, identification, and document responsibilities
The customer and each signer are responsible for:
- providing the complete document and any instructions supplied by its recipient or commissioning party;
- confirming which notarial act is required when the document does not state it;
- bringing identification or arranging another identification method acceptable under Nevada law;
- ensuring every required signer is present, willing, aware, and able to communicate directly with the notary;
- arranging any document witnesses unless Lady Luck Notary expressly agrees otherwise; and
- reviewing the document for completeness and accuracy without asking the notary for legal advice.
A document witness and a credible witness used to establish identity have different roles. Confirm witness requirements before the appointment.
7. Authority to delay, refuse, or discontinue service
Lady Luck Notary may delay, refuse, or stop a service when a legal or professional requirement is not satisfied or when proceeding would be unsafe or improper. Reasons may include an absent signer, inadequate identification, an incomplete notarial certificate, uncertainty about the required notarial act, apparent unwillingness or lack of awareness, inability to communicate directly with the signer, suspected fraud or coercion, a document or request outside the notary's authority, unsafe conditions, or instructions that conflict with law.
A refusal is not a legal judgment about the document or transaction. Another notary is not required to reach the same decision.
8. Mobile travel and location requirements
Mobile service requires a confirmed address or meeting place and a setting where identification, communication, journal entry, signing, and completion of the notarial certificate can occur safely and without improper interference. The customer is responsible for lawful access to the location and for disclosing relevant access, parking, facility, or security requirements before scheduling.
Travel and arrival timing may be affected by traffic, weather, access restrictions, emergencies, and other conditions outside reasonable control. The parties should communicate promptly if circumstances change.
9. Pricing and additional charges
Lady Luck Notary confirms the anticipated total cost before scheduling. The total may include notarial fees and separately agreed charges for travel, printing, scanbacks, witness arrangements, delivery, or other requested work when applicable. Website content is not a binding quote.
If the scope changes, additional documents or signers are added, waiting is required, or new delivery instructions arise, Lady Luck Notary will address any resulting cost change before performing the added work when reasonably possible.
10. Cancellations, waiting, and no-shows
Contact Lady Luck Notary promptly if you need to cancel, reschedule, or report a delay. A late arrival, unavailable signer, missing document, identification problem, inaccessible location, or other condition may require the appointment to be delayed, shortened, rescheduled, or ended.
These terms do not establish a cancellation or no-show fee. Any charge associated with a particular request must be disclosed and agreed as part of that request rather than inferred from this page.
11. Payment and refunds
Payment timing, method, responsible party, and any special billing instructions are confirmed for the particular service. This page does not promise acceptance of a specific payment method or create a general right to credit, reimbursement, or refund.
Questions about an incorrect charge, incomplete service, or requested refund will be reviewed based on the facts, work performed, agreed terms, third-party instructions, and applicable law.
12. Printing, scanbacks, document custody, and delivery
A service may require Lady Luck Notary to receive, download, print, transport, scan, transmit, or return documents. The customer or commissioning party must provide accurate delivery instructions and identify deadlines or handling requirements before the service.
Lady Luck Notary will use reasonable care while documents are in its custody. Physical and electronic transfer can involve risks outside direct control, including carrier delay, misdelivery, technical failure, file corruption, or instructions supplied by another party. Customers should retain appropriate copies when permitted and promptly confirm receipt with the intended recipient.
13. Loan-signing limitations
For a loan or real estate signing, Lady Luck Notary follows lawful notarial duties and authorized signing instructions. The notary may point out information shown in the package or contact the designated party for direction, but does not negotiate terms, interpret loan provisions, advise whether to sign, or act as the lender, title company, escrow holder, attorney, or settlement agent.
The signer is responsible for raising transaction questions with the appropriate lender, title company, attorney, or other authorized representative.
14. Apostille and government-processing limitations
Lady Luck Notary provides apostille assistance or facilitation. Lady Luck Notary does not issue apostilles, authentications, certified government records, visas, or other government approvals and cannot control whether an authority accepts a document or how long an authority or carrier takes to process it.
The customer is responsible for accurate information about the document's issuing jurisdiction, destination country, intended use, and recipient requirements. Additional certification, translation, notarization, or government steps may be required by the relevant authority.
15. Remote Online Notarization limitations
RON is available only when Lady Luck Notary confirms that the service is operational and appropriate for the request. Nevada law requires the electronic notary to be physically present in Nevada while performing the act. A signer may be elsewhere only when the location and transaction satisfy applicable Nevada requirements. See NRS 240.1993.
RON also depends on an approved technology platform, real-time audio-video communication, identity procedures, electronic documents, signatures, recording, and platform access. Call to confirm current availability. Do not assume an online request can be completed remotely.
16. No guarantee of acceptance, completion, or third-party outcome
Lady Luck Notary does not guarantee that a notarized document will be accepted, recorded, funded, filed, authenticated, or otherwise produce a particular result. Notarization does not guarantee the document's legal sufficiency or the completion of the underlying transaction.
Government agencies, courts, title companies, lenders, document recipients, foreign authorities, platforms, and carriers make their own decisions and may change requirements or request corrections.
17. Third-party services and delays
The website or a requested service may involve third-party sites, platforms, carriers, government offices, title companies, lenders, signing services, or other providers. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. Lady Luck Notary is not responsible for their independent content, decisions, systems, security, availability, or delay.
A link or working relationship does not imply that Lady Luck Notary controls or endorses every statement or practice of the third party.
18. Website acceptable use
You may not interfere with the site, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, use the site for unlawful or fraudulent activity, impersonate another person, submit information you are not authorized to provide, scrape the site in a disruptive manner, or use site content to misrepresent Lady Luck Notary or its services.
19. Intellectual property
The Lady Luck Notary name, logos, visual design, original copy, graphics, and other original site materials are owned by or licensed to Lady Luck Notary and are protected by applicable law. You may view and print reasonable portions for personal use related to evaluating or requesting services. No other license is granted.
20. Website disclaimers and limitation of responsibility
The website is provided on an as-available basis for general informational use. To the extent permitted by law, Lady Luck Notary disclaims implied warranties concerning uninterrupted site access, error-free operation, completeness, and fitness of general website content for a particular purpose.
To the extent permitted by law, Lady Luck Notary is not responsible for loss caused solely by reliance on general website information, customer-supplied errors, unauthorized or conflicting instructions, third-party acts or systems, or events outside reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits any right that cannot lawfully be waived.
21. Governing law, severability, and waiver
These terms are governed by Nevada law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any claim must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction and venue under applicable law. These terms do not require arbitration and do not contain a class-action waiver.
If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue. A delay or failure to enforce a provision on one occasion is not a waiver of that provision or the right to enforce it later.
22. Changes and contact information
Lady Luck Notary may revise these terms as the website, services, systems, and legal requirements change. Revised terms will be posted here with a new effective date and apply from that date forward.
